EMSELLA
The Emsella Chair

Overview
In women, childbirth and menopause can weaken pelvic floor muscles, making them challenging to control. In men, prostate surgery and general aging can also weaken these muscles. Strengthening these muscles helps improve bladder control, reduce incontinence, and improve blood flow and control. The Emsella Chair offers a non-surgical, non-invasive solution to strengthen the pelvic floor. It uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic waves to induce deep pelvic floor muscle contractions, equating to 11,200 Kegel exercises in just 28 minutes!
Does the Treatment Hurt?
No! During the 28-minute procedure, you may feel a tingling sensation and experience pelvic floor muscle contractions. These contractions are frequent but painless. If you experience any level of discomfort, the intensity can be adjusted and the procedure will still be effective. You should be able to carry on a conversation or read during your session. Plus, there’s no downtime, so you can resume your daily activities immediately afterward.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Our patients tell us they see improvements in just one session, but for lasting results, we recommend starting with two sessions per week for three weeks, totaling six treatments. If that doesn’t work for you, we can customize a plan based on your needs. After the initial 6 treatments, monthly maintenance sessions are recommended.
Is the Treatment Covered by Insurance?
The Emsella Chair is not covered by insurance. However, we offer affordable starter packages of 6 sessions.
